Yapa Beats : from the desert

Yuendumu Music Studio busy? Yuwayi!

The Ti Tree Six Mile Band has been into the Yuendumu Music Studio in the last week, recording 5 songs in just one day. They had a great time and are looking forward to coming again to do a few more songs, enough for a full CD. The Ti Tree Six Mile Band have been around for a long time, writing their own songs and getting lots of practice in. Watch out for news of a CD release of their work hopefully early next year.

Desert Mulga Band aka The Verandah Band

PAW Media is pretty pleased that the Desert Mulga Band is part of the Yapa Beats CD. The Desert Mulga Band is a well-known Nyirripi band with the strong desert beat as part of their style. But they have become famous recently as The Verandah Band in the film Samson and Delilah.
